QA Software Engineer

Muehlbauer Serbia Group is seeking for motivated QA Software Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans for complex web applications and backend microservices.

• Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using modern scripting languages and testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or REST Assured).

• Integrate automated testing pipelines into CI/CD workflows to ensure continuous quality and rapid feedback during deployments.

• Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly, working closely with software engineers to troubleshoot and verify fixes.

• Conduct API, integration, and regression testing to validate high availability, throughput, and system resilience.

Skills:

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript) for test automation.

• Experience testing RESTful APIs, microservice architectures, and validating data integrity using SQL or NoSQL databases.

• A solid understanding of JSON/XML, including its structure and usage in data representation and integration.

• Experience with version control system (e.g. Git).

Education: Master/ Bachelor degree or diploma in computer science, IT, or a related field. Candidates nearing the completion of their studies may also be considered.

Experience: Previous working experience, internships or academic projects in software development are plus.
